IEM/KUG will be hosting VDT's 4th International Conference on Spatial
Audio (ICSA), September 7th...10th, 2017, Graz, Austria.
We are calling for contributions covering the 3D audio topics named on
, and in the following formats:
1) Talk/Poster: please submit Abstracts of papers until _March 31st_.
On acceptance, you will be asked to give a talk or poster presentation
at ICSA and to finish a full paper for publication.
2) Workshops: Proposals to show 3D audio production steps and to
convey listening experience can be submitted until _March 31st_.
3) Music: ICSA 2017 calls for students' works to be submitted to
Europe's First Student 3D Audio Production Competition - in Ambisonics,
with _June 30th_ as deadline.The pieces selected for presentation at
ICSA, will be played back in a large hall (Ligeti Hall at MUMUTH) with a
powerful 29-channel hemispherical loudspeaker system and several
subwoofers, which can accommodate 200 listeners.
The venue of ICSA 2017 will be the campus of the University of Music and
Performing Arts in Graz. In particular: MUMUTH's Orchestra Rehearsal
Hall (talks), Ligeti Hall (workshop/concert), Foyer (exhibition
area/coffee+cake), TiP's Theater Stage (workshop), Foyer
(exhibition/registration/poster/coffee+cake), etc., as you can see on
our website. There will be at least three spatial audio facilities.
ICSA 2017's motto is “3D audio… it's everywhere!”, which will be
especially reflected by the students' 3D audio production competition
with listening sessions and aesthetic discussions of an international
jury, and by the workshops at ICSA.
